BOISE STATE OFFERS MUSIC AND ART STUDY TOUR TO PARIS

Boise State University’s Division of Extended Studies is sponsoring a Paris music and art study tour May 19-26, 2002. Join Boise State professors Del Parkinson and Cheryl Shurtleff on this educational journey to Europe’s "City of Lights."

Cultural sites include the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, Arc de Triomphe, Invalides, Montmartre, the Left Bank and the Champs-Elysees, as well as a day-trip to the Versailles Palace. Tour members will also join Shurtleff, an art professor, in visits to art museums in the Louvre, the Cluny, the Rodin and the d’Orsay. Parkinson, a music professor, will lead informal discussions on world-class performances of opera, ballet and symphonic music.

Cost is $2,500 and includes airfare, hotel, performance tickets, museum and metro passes, the excursion to Versailles, some meals and credit or noncredit fees.
