WORKSHOP ON THE BASICS OF SELF-ESTEEM OFFERED BY BOISE STATE

Life experiences can add to or take away one�s sense of self-confidence. If you experience circumstances that demand personal changes, you may suddenly find yourself feeling frozen with fear. Fortunately, self-esteem can increase if you know a bit about making changes in times of uncertainty. Learn how to practice the basics that will help you achieve healthy self-esteem through a free workshop offered by the Center for New Directions at Boise State University. Topics include dealing with transition, attitudes for success, learning how to encourage yourself, managing stress and personal goal setting.

The workshop will meet on Tuesday mornings from Feb. 5 through March 5 at the Center for New Directions near the Boise State campus, 1226 Belmont, on the corner of Belmont and Euclid.Call 426 4026 to register.

The Center for New Directions is a unit of the Selland College of Applied Technology. The goal of the center is to help people improve their lives and make significant positive career changes. Classes are offered at no charge on a variety of topics including financial aid for college and job readiness.
