Artwork From Treasure Valley's Top Artists on Display at Boise State
An array of artwork – from photography, watercolor, charcoal, oil and mixed media – is currently on display at Boise State University’s “Treasure Valley Juried Art Exhibit.” The show, which is free and open to the public, will continue through August 1 at the Student Union Gallery.

"His Brother's Keeper" by Joyce Green

An annual event, the exhibition features artwork from some of the Treasure Valley’s top artists. Cash awards were presented at the opening reception May 31. Joyce Green, from Meridian, captured this year’s Best of Show award for her watercolor painting, “His Brother’s Keeper.” Adrianne Shurtleff, first runner-up, and Katie Cepek, second runner-up, also received awards. Winners were selected by members of the Student Union art advisory board.

Participating artists include: Katie Cepek, Boise; Doug Davidson, Moscow; Philip Fisher, Boise; Colin Fox, Nampa; Joe Graney, Boise; Joyce Green, Meridian; Mark Hardy, Eagle; Toni Hendrickson, Jerome; Jay Krajic, Boise; Nate Lauerman, Boise; Lou Ray, Boise; Peter Sacks, Boise; Kay Seurat, Boise and Adrianne Shurtleff, Boise.
The Student Union Gallery is open from 7 a.m.-10 p.m. daily and is located on the upper level of the Student Union. The exhibition is sponsored by Student Union and Activities. For more information call 426-1223.
