Boise State University’s Department of Music is hosting Cavalcade USA, a four-day marching band camp for junior high and high school students July 8-12 at Bronco Stadium. Registration for the event ends June 24.

The camp includes individual workshops for drum majors, percussionists and color guard, as well as a director’s workshop for university credit. The public is welcome to attend a free final performance at 10 a.m., Friday, July 12.

David Wells, director of Boise State’s Keith Stein Blue Thunder Marching Band, has coordinated Cavalcade USA for over 30 years in various locations, including Honolulu, HI, Hastings College in Nebraska and Boise State.

Camp tuition is $70, plus $100 for out-of-town students requiring meals and dorm accommodations. Contact Boise State’s marching band office for a brochure and application, 426-1846.
