Whimsical Images by Boise State Art Prof Bill Carman on Exhibit
Bill Carman will be the featured artist at the Basement Gallery, 928 W. Main St. "Mixing Imagination with Humor," an exhibit of Carman’s whimsical and lighthearted images, will be on display July 4 through August 30.

The gallery is open 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment. A reception with refreshments and entertainment will be held the evening of Aug. 1 for First Thursday, when the gallery is open until 9 p.m. There will not be a First Thursday reception at the Basement Gallery in July due to the July 4 holiday.

"Ventriloquist"

Carman is an art professor at Boise State University. His works have been featured at numerous galleries throughout the country, including recent exhibitions in New York City and Sun Valley. He is the author and illustrator of a children’s book, What’s That Noise?, due to be released by Random House Books in July.
Other works that will be exhibited at the Basement Gallery include Pam Demo’s colorful abstracts, titled "Ink on Paper," and a series of acrylics on found aluminum by Jerri Lisk.
