“UNMASQUED” PROVIDES ENTERTAINMENT FOR ALL AGES
Puppets, large and small, will share the stage with actors and a live music ensemble in “Unmasqued!,” a play based on William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” There will be three performances March 15-16 at Boise State Special Events Center—at 8 p.m Friday, March 15 and at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 16.
Like Shakespeare’s play, “Unmasqued!” explores fantasy, emotions, imagination and magic. The actors will involve viewers by moving the 8-10 foot high puppets through the audience. Live music will be provided by the Academy of St. Giles.
The production is sponsored by Boise State University Student Programs Board Perfoming Arts. Tickets for the performance are $3.50 for children, Boise State students, faculty and staff; $6 general, available at Select-a-Seat, 426-1494 or www.idahotickets.com.
