Boise State's Spring Graduation Celebration is May 17

The Boise State Alumni Association will sponsor the sixth annual Spring Graduation Celebration from noon-2 p.m. on Friday, May 17 at the Student Union North Parking Lot.

The celebration includes a barbecue cooked by the deans, vice presidents and President Ruch, live music and children’s games. Free to graduates, the event is a chance for graduates and their families to visit with favorite professors, take pictures with friends or just enjoy the sun.

The Alumni Association sponsors the barbecue every year and usually draws more than 1,500 people. Graduates can pick up two free tickets from the Alumni Center or the Student Union Information Desk. Additional tickets are $5 and children under 10 are free. In case of rain, the event will be moved inside the Student Union Building. For more information, call 426-1698.
