Live Music, Free Food and Summer Fun at Boise State in June
Live funky groove blues, celtic melodies and alternative rock are just a sampling of sounds to be heard during Boise State University’s Noon Tunes from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m every Wednesday in June at the Student Union North Patio.
Noon Tunes festivities are free and open to everyone. People are welcome to bring sack lunches or buy food at the Student Union, although free snacks will be provided on the patio. There will also be free parking in the Student Union Visitor’s Lot. The Noon Tunes series is presented by Boise State Student Union and Activities.
The June line-up includes the following bands:
June 5–John Nemeth & The Three Jacks. Enjoy a range of styles from Chicago blues covers to 1950’s rock and roll to cajun and original country songs.
June 12–Sidhe. Singer K.T. Millham and guitarist Michael Millham draw from philosophical, social and musical influences to create sophisticated sounds.
June 19–Crash Four. Formed in 1998, this group offers eclectic, acoustic folk-rock music. After only a year in Boise, they were voted the Treasure Valley’s best rock band.
June 26–Paul Peterson Band. Enjoy some funky groove blues and clever lyrics with this band.
