INDIAN CULTURAL NIGHT PERFORMANCE AT BOISE STATE
ON JANUARY 25
The Boise State University Indian Student Organization
along with Association of India’s Development of Boise and the Indian
community will present an Indian Cultural Night from 5-7 p.m. on Jan. 25 in the
Student Union Special Events Center. This night will feature performances of
colorful dances and drama that will reflect India’s culture and history.
Indian students, community members and families make up
the performance company for this cultural celebration. Traditional and folk
dances will explore a variety of themes such as the Indian independence
struggle, harvest and the joy of the seasons. A dramatic performance will parody
a typical Indian student’s experience studying in the United States.
Tickets are $5 and are available only in advance by
contacting Vikram Koka by voice-mail at 794-1382 or by e-mail at vkoka@boisestate.edu.
Students will deliver tickets directly to the home of anyone who lives within 3
miles of the Boise State campus.
