BRONZE SCULPTURE FINDS TEMPORARY HOME IN WOMENS CENTER

A bronze sculpture by artist Louie DMartino has been loaned to Boise State University to be displayed for a year. The sculpture of a young maiden swimmer, titled "Searise," will be housed in the Womens Center. Members of the public are invited to stop by to view it in the Student Union Annex, across the street from the Student Union.

The Womens Center acts as a point of entry where womens concerns can be handled directly or supportively referred to the appropriate university office or community agency. The center provides resources and information on a variety of topics including, but not limited to, relationship violence, safety, womens health, diversity and self-esteem.

For more information or to talk to someone directly, contact the Womens Center at 426-4259.
