RELIGIOUS POLITICS THE THEME OF COMMUNITY
DISCUSSION
Andrew Rice will make a presentation and lead an open

7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6. The event will be held at the Hyde Park Mennonite
Fellowship at 1520 N. 12th St. and is open to the public. Admission is a

Rice, of Houston, Texas, is a member of Peaceful Tomorrows
and speaks regularly as a proponent for a restorative non-violent response to
9-11. He works for the non-profit "Texas Freedom Network," which
counters the influence of religious extremism on politics and organizes
religious leaders to speak out in favor of compassionate and inclusive
democratic communities.
This event is sponsored by the Boise State University
School of Social Work and the Idaho NASW Peace and Justice Committee. For more
