ANNUAL SPRING FLING FESTIVAL IS ACCEPTING SPONSORSHIP

Boise State University’s Student Programs Board (SPB) Spring Fling committee wants to partner with area businesses and organizations in planning the 25th annual Spring Fling. This year’s committee is dedicated to producing the finest large-scale park festival in Boise.

Spring Fling is an annual festival in Julia Davis Park at the Gene Harris Bandshell. Features of this event include live music by regional and national artists, family activities such as wax hands and inflatable games and food and product vendors.  In the past two years, this event has seen an increase in attendance of over 300 percent. More than 8,000 people attended the 2002 event that combined Earth Day and the Spring Fling.

Businesses and organizations interested in becoming a sponsor may contact Skylar Christenson with SPB at 426-3655, fax 426-2160, or email specialevents@boisestate.edu
. There are numerous sponsorship opportunities available with a variety of monetary investments. The benefits of sponsorship may include logo and name recognition on over $7,000 worth of promotional materials. Additionally, sponsors are given premier booth locations at the vendor area of the event. Agencies or organizations that have a vested interest in fostering community cohesion will be able to promote those interests with the exposure that sponsorship provides.

Student Programs Board is a student-run organization which represents student interests and coordinates events for students and the community.
