JAMES WADE TO PRESENT PAPER AT INTERNATIONAL
CONVENTION
Boise State University student James Wade will present a
paper, “The Alaskan Arctic and Nineteenth Century Philosophical Theory:
Determinism in Jack London Short Stories,” at the 2003 international
conference of the English honor society Sigma Tau Delta, to be held March 20-23
in Cincinnati, Ohio. Wade’s paper was selected from a pool of international
submissions.
Wade, the son of Eric and Doylanne Wade, graduated from
high school in Wasilla in 1999. He is now a senior at Boise State majoring in
English with a literature emphasis.
Boise State is Idaho’s metropolitan university, located
in the state’s population center and capital city. The 17,700-student
university offers a variety of undergraduate, graduate and technical programs in
eight colleges: Applied Technology, Arts and Sciences, Business and Economics,
Education, Engineering, Graduate Studies, Health Sciences, and Social Sciences
and Public Affairs.
