BOISE STATE CLUB TO HOST RODEO AT IDAHO CENTER
APRIL 11-12
The Rodeo Club at Boise State University will host a rodeo
Friday April 11 and Saturday April 12 at the Idaho Center in Nampa. Performances
will be at 7 p.m. Friday and at 1 p.m. Saturday, with the top 10 contestants in
each event competing at 7 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $4 general and $2 for
Boise State students and children; tickets can be purchased at the gate.
Events include bull riding, barrel racing, goat tying,
breakaway roping, team roping and saddle bronc riding. A mutton busting
competition for children ages 4-7 and 60 pounds or less will begin at 5 p.m.
both days. Cost is $15. To sign up for mutton busting call Jill Brown at (208)

Boise State University students participating include Jill
Brown, Rocky Starks, Nathaniel Davis, Jeni Garcin, Colleen Underwood, Katie
Allen, Justin Burdick, Heather Maneotis and Tina Nau.
The rodeo is sponsored by Idaho Dairymen, Silver Spur
Saloon and Hometown Motors.
