ISHAQ, WOLFE ELECTED BOISE STATE STUDENT
GOVERNMENT PRESIDENT, VP
Ali Ishaq and Jim Wolfe were declared winners of the 2003
election as Associated Students of Boise State University (ASBSU) president and
vice president today. Results of the student body election were announced at
noon today in the Student Union Forum. Voting took place Wednesday and Thursday.
Ishaq and Wolfe, both of Boise, garnered 601 votes
compared to the runner-up ticket of Matthew Peterson and Pam MaGee, with 312
votes. James Sherman and Jennifer Scott came in third with 197 votes.
ASBSU Senate election winners are: Leeanna Brosamle,
College of Arts & Sciences; Katherine Elizabeth Medina, College of
Education; Ramiro Castro, College of Applied Technology; Wayne Collins, College
of Engineering; Michael Darrington, College of Business & Economics; Robert
J. Green, College of Social Sciences & Public Affairs; Spencer Henderson,
College of Health Sciences; and Lee M. Vander Boegh, Graduate College.
