BOISE STATE SPONSORS UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH
CONFERENCE
Russell Gould, a research professor at Southern Methodist
University and application and data systems generalist at The Boeing Company,
will be the keynote speaker at Boise State University’s annual Undergraduate
Research Conference. The free conference will be held in the Student Union Hatch
Ballroom from 9:30 a.m.-noon Monday, April 21.
Undergraduate students in Boise State University’s
College of Social Sciences and Public Affairs will give poster presentations of
their research in several disciplines, including anthropology, communication,
criminal justice, family studies, history, political science, psychology, social
work and sociology. In addition, several students will be recognized for
outstanding research achievements.
A recognition ceremony, including Gould’s speech, begins
at 11 a.m. Dean Michael Blankenship will address the group and present
certificates to each research presenter and recognized student.
