BOISE STATE CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT PROF WINS
INTERNATIONAL AWARD
Charles Gains, a professor of construction management at
Boise State University, received an international award last Friday, April 11.
He was awarded the prestigious Outstanding Educator Award at the Associated
Schools of Construction National Conference, held at Clemson University. In
addition, Gains was also given an award for his service as a board member for
the ASC during the last three years.
The international membership of the ASC, like the field of
construction management, is interdisciplinary, drawing members from disciplines
including architecture, engineering, management, technology and others. The
association offers a variety of programs and services designed to help its
members serve their customers more effectively and succeed in an increasingly
challenging environment of information management and technology.
The Association is organized into seven regions in the
United States (Northeast, Southeast, Great Lakes, North Central, South Central,
Rocky Mountain and Far West) and two international regions, one for
international institutions (Canada, Europe, Asia and the Pacific, and
Caribbean/Central/South America) and one for industry professionals.
