The Boise State Bookstore will
celebrate its newly remodeled space at a Grand Reopening from
10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 7. Events include product
discounts, prize giveaways, music and refreshments. A
ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 11:15 a.m. The Bookstore
is located on the ground floor of the Student Union just
inside the main entrance.
Bookstore and Bronco Shop
purchases help fund scholarships at Boise State. The Bookstore
has donated $300,000 in the last two years to the university’s
general scholarship fund and $4,500 to match ASBSU’s
donation to the Emergency Relief Fund. The Bronco Shop helps
fund athletic scholarships. Last year, a $200,000 donation
aided the Children’s Center expansion.
Events for May 7 include a 25
percent discount on purchases*. From May 7-11, the Bookstore
will offer buy-one-get one-free and half-price specials. In
addition, there will be prize drawings for students in every
department, including free textbooks for fall semester, a
one-minute “all the apparel you can stuff in a Jansport bag”
shopping spree and Office XP and Macromedia packages.
