Boise State Ties for Third at National Human Resource Championship
 

A team of Boise State University human resource management students tied for third place in the Human Resource Collegiate National Competition in Orlando, Fla., June 24. Adam Scheerer, Paul Cheney and Sara McClarin competed in a Jeopardy-style competition testing their knowledge of human resource management. The Society for Human Resource Management sponsored the contest. Boise State won the Western Regional Championship earlier this spring and entered the national contest by defeating Utah State. At the national competition, Boise State tied for third place with North Carolina State. Mississippi State and St. Norbert College were declared co-champions after a close final match. The national championships are a culmination of four months of state, regional and national competitions held among about 150 universities throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
