Pianist Kicks Off Boise State Faculty Artist Series Sept. 5
Boise State University professor of music Del Parkinson will open this season�s Faculty Artist Series with a piano recital at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, in the Morrison Center Recital Hall. The performance will be repeated at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7. Admission is $5 general, $3 seniors and free to all students and Boise State faculty and staff.
Parkinson will perform a program titled �An Evening at the Ballet,� featuring works written for ballet companies by 20th century composers such as Copland (El Sal�n M�xico), Ravel (Noble and Sentimental Waltzes), de Falla (Ritual Fire Dance) and Prokofiev (Romeo and Juliet).
