Boise
Philharmonic Sunday is a new radio program premièring at noon on Sunday, Aug. 24
on KBSU and KBSW. Boise Philharmonic’s education coordinator Jamey Lamar and
music director and conductor Jim Ogle will co-host the light-hearted and
informative hour-long program. Boise Philharmonic Sunday will highlight music
from the upcoming season and will include music from various orchestras,
including the Boise Philharmonic.
Boise Philharmonic Sunday will run through Sunday, Oct 19. “I look forward to
great conversations about music,” said Ogle. “We hope to share with listeners an
inside look at life inside an orchestra and how great music is performed.”
KBSU program director Jim East said he is excited about the addition of the
program. “The Boise Philharmonic is a first-rate organization with wonderful
talent.
“We’re delighted to be able to showcase the exciting season and talents of James
Ogle and the Boise Philharmonic.”
KBSU airs on 90.3 FM in Boise,
91.7 FM in McCall, 90.9 FM in Cascade, 106.3 FM in Stanley and 91.1 FM in Lower
Stanley.
KBSW airs on 91.7 FM in Twin Falls, 93.5 FM in Ketchum, 89.3 FM in Bellevue,
89.7 FM in Challis, and 91.9 FM in Salmon.
