Boise State Women's Center Seeks Nominations

The Boise State University Women’s Center is seeking nominations of ordinary women who are doing extraordinary things. Women who are chosen from the nominations will be honored as part of the March 2004 Women’s History Month celebration. Nominations are due by Sept. 26. In March 2001 the Women's Center created a newspaper publication that recognized Women Making History in Idaho. Ordinary women throughout the community were nominated for doing extraordinary things. A total of 109 women have been honored in the last three years. Twenty-five women will be honored this year. Because selection of honorees is based solely on information provided in the application, nominations should be thorough and include what the nominee is doing in her life, a detailed story demonstrating how she is making a difference in the lives of others, her greatest achievements and personal qualities, a quote from the nominator that sums up her attitude and other details.
