MPC Computers President and CEO Will Speak At Boise State University

Michael S. Adkins, President and CEO of MPC, will speak on the Boise State University campus on Thursday, Sept. 25, as part of the Boise State University College of Business and Economics Distinguished Speaker Series.     Adkins’ talk is titled, “Thriving in a Tough Economy: How MPC Computers Reinvented Itself for Success During the Recession.” It will be held from 1:40-2:55 p.m. in the Jordan Ballroom, second floor of the Student Union.     Adkins began his career at Micron Technology in 1986 and then joined Micron Electronics in 1996 as executive director of SpecTek. In 2001, Micron Electronics PC operations were sold to Gores Technology Group. Adkins transferred with the PC operations and was named CEO and President of the new company – MPC Computers. Adkins served in the military, attended college in Killeen, Texas, and is a Boise State University alumnus.
