Boise State Offers Free Help For Homemakers, Single Parents


The Boise State University College of Applied Technology is offering two free programs for displaced homemakers or single parents who are in transition and want to explore their educational and career options. The programs, offered through the Center for New Directions, include:
 
bullet Transitions — Making Positive Changes and Improving Self-Esteem. Topics include self-esteem, action plans, goal setting and more. The program begins on Sept.17 in Boise. Call 426-4026 for information.  
bulletCareer exploration workshop. Topics include career and educational options and individualized career assessment. This program will be offered Sept. 16 and 18 in Nampa. Call 426-4721 for information.
