Pianist Olga Kern To Give Three Performances At Boise State

Kern, known for her passionate musicianship and vivid stage presence, was the Gold Medal winner at the 11th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in June, 2001. She was the first woman to achieve this distinction in more than 30 years. A compact disc recording of her Cliburn competition performances can be found on the harmonia mundi label. Sept. 20, 10 a.m., Morrison Center Main Hall — Tickets for this Boise Philharmonic dress rehearsal performance are $10 general and $5 students and seniors at the door.
