Work By Boise State Art Professor In Pennsylvania Gallery Show

Work by Boise State University art professor Anika Smulovitz is part of an exhibition at the Bruce Gallery at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. The exhibition, titled “Fetish and Ritual,” runs through Sept. 25.     Smulovitz’s pieces focus on lips and include photographs, small interactive sculptures, installations, brooches and a new form of body jewelry designed to accentuate lips. “Lip liners” are custom-made lip adornments which rest comfortably in the mouth, accentuating the line created when the two lips meet.
