College of Business and Economics Names Outstanding Students


The Boise State University College of Business and Economics has named eight Students of the Month for October.

They are: 
bulletCorrine Fiedler, accountancy; 
bulletChris Spackman, economics; 
bulletCarol Lauson, finance; 
bulletChad Brooks, international business; 
bulletSara McClarin, management; 
bulletJenna Strong, marketing; 
bulletChris Zampogna, production management; 
bulletand Kirk Hanson, graduate studies.

The College of Business and Economics at Boise State is the primary emphasis business school in Idaho. With more than 100 faculty and staff, over 3,000 students, and delivery sites throughout Southern Idaho, the College has undergraduate degree programs in accountancy, computer information systems, economics, finance, international business, management, marketing and production operations management, and networking and telecommunications. On the graduate level, the college offers master of science degrees in accountancy, accountancy with a taxation emphasis, management information systems, and masters in business administration.

Boise State is Idaho’s metropolitan university, located in the state’s population center and capital city. The 18,000-student university offers a variety of undergraduate, graduate and technical programs in eight colleges: Applied Technology, Arts and Sciences, Business and Economics, Education, Engineering, Graduate Studies, Health Sciences, and Social Sciences and Public Affairs.
