more information. These films are scheduled through the end of
October:
Oct. 20:
“28 Days” (PG-13; drama; Sandra
Bullock; 2000). Gwen Cummings hops from the dance club to the bar
with her boyfriend Jasper in a crazy drunken party she calls daily
life. After crashing her sister’s wedding and the bride’s limo,
Gwen finds herself with a DUI, 28 days in court-ordered rehab, and
a counselor who can see through her carefully constructed
defenses.
Oct.
27: “Gremlins” (PG; horror/suspense; Zach Galligan, Phoebe
Cates; 1984). An unusual Christmas present called a “mogwai” is
given to Billy Peltzer (Galligan) with three rules to caring for
the pet: never get him wet, keep him out of bright light and never
feed him after midnight. When Billy inadvertently breaks one of
the rules, the consequences multiply at an alarming rate.
