Boise
State University’s instructional and performance technology (IPT)
department is hosting an open house from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Monday,
Oct. 20, at the Alumni Center at 1173 University Drive.
Students, graduates and applicants interested in the IPT
program will have an opportunity to meet each other and to meet
Cheryl Schrader, the new dean of the College of Engineering.
Participants will also hear about upcoming program changes and
spring course offerings. Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be
served.
The IPT master of science program is
intended to prepare students for careers in the areas of
instructional design, training, training management, human
resources, organizational redesign, and job performance
improvement. Graduates of this program are usually employed in
business, the military, education or private consulting.
