Boise State Astronomy Club Invites Public To View Lunar Eclipse

Treasure Valley residents are invited to view a lunar eclipse through powerful telescopes from 6-10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at Boise State University. Faculty and astronomy club members will be on hand to answer questions. Admission is $2 general and $1 for students of all ages and Boise State faculty and staff.

Dont Let the Sun Go Down is sponsored by The Black Holez, Boise States astronomy club. It will be held on the roof of the Education Building, located just east of the Morrison Center. Take the elevator to the seventh floor and the stairs to the roof. Pay parking is available at the parking structure on Brady Street and University Drive.

If inclement weather forces cancellation of the event, signs will be posted at the entrance to the Education Building. The public can also check a recorded message at 426-2356 to find out if weather has canceled the event.
