Mark Sheldon
discusses his battle with cancer and
the music that sustains him
KBSU will air a one-hour special featuring Mark Sheldon at noon
Sunday, Nov. 30. Sheldon will share personal musical selections
and his views on the power of music to inspire, comfort and heal.
Hosted by Monika Vischer, this hour brings an intimate and
uplifting focus to the Thanksgiving weekend.
Sheldon is a regular classical music host on KBSU-FM from 4-5
p.m. weekdays, and on both KBSU and KBSW from 7-8 p.m. weekdays
and 9-10 a.m. Sundays.
Music is seen by many as a powerful force in their lives. As we
pause this Thanksgiving to celebrate the things we’re thankful
for, KBSU offers this inspiring hour with Sheldon discussing his
long battle with cancer, and the comfort and strength he has
continually found in music. Through his story, interwoven with
remarkable music, Sheldon and Vischer reveal the incredible power
music offers all of us in our personal battles.
