| Students can receive
free, no-needle HIV testing, participate in a worldwide
candlelight vigil and participate in sexual health discussions
during Sexual Health Awareness Week at Boise State University Dec.
1-5. Events are sponsored by Boise State Health, Wellness and
Counseling Services, Boise State Student Union and Activities, HIV
Services Center and a.l.p.h.a (Allies Linked for
the Prevention of HIV/AIDS).
Following is the schedule:
Dec. 1
• 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Student Union Ah Fong Room: Confidential
no-needles HIV testing.
• 6 p.m., Anne Morrison Park Circle of Trees: World AIDS Day
candlelight vigil.
Dec. 2
• 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Student Union Cataldo Room: Confidential
no-needles HIV testing.
• 7 p.m., Towers Residence Hall lobby: Sex in the Lobby
discussion.
Dec. 3
• 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Student Union Ah Fong Room: Confidential
no-needles HIV testing.
• 7 p.m., Special Events Center: Two films,
“Dream Worlds II” and “Teen Sexuality in a
World of Confusion.” Note: films contain graphic
images that may not be suitable for young
audiences.
Dec. 4-5
• 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Student Union Cataldo Room: Confidential
no-needles HIV testing.
In addition, students are encouraged to visit The Wall in the
Student Union, where they can draw their feelings about how AIDS
has impacted their lives.
