Boise State Offers Prep Classes For Graduate Admission Exam

Boise State University is offering classes to assist students preparing to take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) in order to apply to graduate programs. The classes, offered through the Division of Extended Studies, begin Jan. 21.     Both classes will be held from 6-10 p.m. each Wednesday through March 17. The prep courses will be taught by an experienced instructor who will implement materials developed by Cambridge Educational Services for the computerized tests. To identify each student’s strengths and weaknesses, the first session will begin with taking the GRE or GMAT diagnostic exam followed by distribution of all student course materials. Instruction will begin with the second session where exam topics, questions, and valuable test-taking strategies will be examined.     The cost for the GRE prep course $325; the GMAT prep course costs $375.  Both fees include the diagnostic test and student course materials.
