Depart at 9 a.m. Feb. 21, return at 5 p.m. Feb. 22, with a
preparatory workshop from 7-9 p.m. Feb. 18. This seminar provides
the basic foundation of knowledge and judgment skills necessary
for winter travel and warm camping. Emphasis will be placed on
trip planning, building shelters, food preparation, winter route
selection and group leadership. Meet at the Outdoor Program
Office; the weekend trip will take place at a site outside of
Idaho City. The $30 fee includes all group camping and technical
equipment. Registration closes at 5 p.m. Feb. 12. Open to Boise
State students, faculty and staff.
