Informational Meeting on Feb. 24. Showcases Doctoral Program in Education

An informational meeting for teachers, administrators, counselors and others interested in learning more about Boise State University’s doctor of education program in curriculum and instruction is planned for 4-5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at Koelsch Elementary School, 2015 N. Curtis Road.

Boise State professors and current doctoral students will be on hand to discuss the doctor of education (Ed.D.) in curriculum and instruction offered through Boise State’s College of Education. Informational materials will also be available.

Boise State’s doctoral program in curriculum and instruction is designed to develop graduates who will be effective leaders in educational improvement. Doctoral students are admitted in small groups and work closely together during their first summer experience and their first year in the program. Components of the program include curriculum and instruction, school improvement, applied research, student-selected cognate study and a dissertation. The doctoral program is supported by faculty members in the College of Education.

For more information on the doctoral program, go to http://education.boisestate.edu/ and click on graduate programs.
