Boise State Presents Florestan Trio For Classic Performance Series

Boise State University’s Student Union Classic Performances Series presents the Florestan Trio at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 13, in the Special Events Center. Tickets are $10 general and $5 for seniors, students 17 and under, and Boise State students, faculty, staff and alumni through Select-a-Seat. Call 426-INFO (426-4636) or visit www.idahotickets.com for more information. Celebrating their 26th season, the members of the Florestan Trio have received international acclaim for their playing. Since joining the faculty of Portland State University in 1977 as artists-in-residence, the Trio has performed concerts throughout the United States, Canada, Asia and Europe. The Trio has received two grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, and recently returned to Asia for their third concert tour of Japan.
