Boise State University to Feature "The New Americans"

Boise State Student Activities and The Independent Television Service (ITVS) presents “The New Americans,” a vivid new documentary on American immigrants, at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 17, in the Farnsworth room of the Student Union. Following the film, there is an open community discussion. The event is free and open to the public. Originally eight hours in length, “The New Americans” is a condensed presentation following the struggles of eight different immigrant families and individuals in the United States. The ITVS brings a wide variety of overlooked and important issues to the forefront through the efforts of independent film producers.
