'A Peace To End All Peace'
on Menu for March's Literature For Lunch

| David Fromkin’s ‘A Peace
to End All Peace’ is the topic of
the Literature for Lunch discussion series in March. Supported by
the Boise State University English department, Literature for
Lunch has grown in popularity and attendance. This year, to make
room for growing enthusiasts, discussion will be from 12:10-1
p.m., Friday, March 5, in the Boise Public Library auditorium, 725
S. Capitol.
The New York Times bestseller ‘A Peace to End All Peace’
studies the fall of the former Ottoman Empire and the formation of
the modern Middle-East through European interaction. Fromkin
traces these events through history to give readers insight into
the groundwork of modern Middle-Eastern politics and policy.
Fromkin, professor of international relations, history and law
at Boston University, is the author of numerous essays and several
books including ‘The Way of the World: From the Dawn of
Civilizations to the Eve of the Twenty-First Century’
(2000) and ‘Europe’s Last Summer’ (2004). He currently resides in
New York.
