Poet Devin Johnston To
Give Reading At Boise State March 8

Devin
Johnston will present a reading of his work at 7:30 p.m. Monday,
March 8, in the Hemingway Center. The reading is free and open to
the public.Johnston�s published works
include two books of poetry, Aversions (forthcoming) and
Telepathy (2001), and his highly regarded book of criticism,
Precipitations: Contemporary American Poetry as Occult.
Johnston served as poetry editor for Chicago Review from
1995-2000. At present, he directs a small press, Flood Editions,
with Michael O�Leary. He currently lives in St. Louis, where he
teaches at St. Louis University.
Devin Johnston is presented as part of the Creative Writing MFA
Reading Series. Upcoming readings for the spring 2004 semester
include: Leslie Scalapino, March 19, Barnwell Room in the Student
Union Building; Alice Notley, April 5, Hemingway Center; Eleni
Sikelianos, April 16, Barnwell Room and Margot Livesey, April 28,
Hemingway Center. All readings are free and open to the public.
