Presidential Team of Morriss and Labrecque Win ASBSU Election

David Morriss and Tom Labrecque were named 2004-05 president and vice president of the Associated Students of Boise State University (ASBSU) following two days of voting. Results of the student body election were announced at noon today in the Student Union Forum. Business majors Morriss, from Nampa, and Labrecque, from Berlin, N.H., collected 726 votes compared to 560 votes for opponents Jim Wolfe and Robert Green, and 394 votes for James Skaggs and Heather Campbell. A total of 1,702 students voted. ASBSU Senate seats will be filled by Ramiro Castro, Selland College of Applied Technology; Erin Loeppke, College of Arts and Sciences; Scott Blakeslee, College of Business and Economics; Katherine Elizabeth Medina, College of Education; LaTisha Clark, College of Engineering; Spencer Henderson, College of Health Sciences; Pam MaGee, College of Social Sciences and Public Affairs; and Renae Gering, Graduate College. New at-large senators are “Belle” Tabielle Antchekov, Bryan Scott Blades, Jefferson Day, Joe Holladay, Carlos Luna, Jared Martin, Jesse Menlove and Wyatt S.
