| The
Boise State University Film Series finishes up this semester with
three outstanding movies. Films will be shown in the Special
Events Center at 7 p.m. Admission is $1 for students, faculty and
staff and $1.50 general. Popcorn and soda will be available for an
additional $1. Student Programs Board sponsors the film series;
call 426-1223 for more information. These films are scheduled
through the end of April: April 12:
“Love Actually” (R; romantic comedy; Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson,
Colin Firth and Keira Knightley; 2003). Love creates complications
and interesting scenarios for a group of strangers on Christmas
Eve in this endearing comedy about love affairs and the webs they
weave.
April 19: “Schindler’s List” (R;
drama; Liam Neeson and Ben Kingsley; 1993). Steven Spielberg’s
epic of World War II Holocaust survivors and the man who
unexpectedly became their hero.
April 26: “Big Fish” (PG-13; drama;
Ewan McGregor and Albert Finney; 2003). Small town storyteller
Edward Bloom retells the worldly adventures of his life in this
Tim Burton film of dreamlike memories and fantastical flashbacks.
