Ballet Folklorico De Mexico Coming To Boise State

Ambassadors of Mexican song and dance, Ballet Gran Folklorico de Mexico, will bring a traveling group of 35 singers, dancers and musicians to Boise State University. Their performance will be at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30, in the Student Union Special Events Center. Tickets are $5 for students, faculty and staff of any Idaho educational institution and $10 general. This group regularly tours America, Canada and Europe with a performance that illustrates culture from different Mexican regions and many original tribes such as the Mayas, Otomis and Aztecs. Ballet Gran Folklorico de Mexico preserves the authenticity of costumes, dances and music, integrating genuine folk artists in a colorful, rhythmic panorama of Mexican song and dance.
