Nuclear Issues Symposium
At Boise State April 19-20

A
symposium on nuclear activism in Idaho and beyond will be held
from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. April 19 and 20 at Boise State University.
“Swimming Upstream to Protect Communities Downstream,” presented
by the Idaho Progressive Student Alliance student club and the
Snake River Alliance, will be held in the Student Union Hatch B
Ballroom. It is free and open to the public.The event serves as
a 25-year celebration for the Snake River Alliance and features
speakers, panels and a special showing of the film “Dr.
Strangelove” at The Flicks, 646 Fulton St., at 7:15 p.m. April 19.
Tickets are $10 and may be reserved by calling 344-9161. There
will also be an art display on the theme of nuclear issues in the
Hatch Ballroom both days of the conference.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. both days.
