Nuclear Issues Symposium
At Boise State April 19-20
A
symposium on nuclear activism in Idaho and beyond will be held
from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. April 19 and 20 at Boise State University.
�Swimming Upstream to Protect Communities Downstream,� presented
by the Idaho Progressive Student Alliance student club and the
Snake River Alliance, will be held in the Student Union Hatch B
Ballroom. It is free and open to the public.The event serves as
a 25-year celebration for the Snake River Alliance and features
speakers, panels and a special showing of the film �Dr.
Strangelove� at The Flicks, 646 Fulton St., at 7:15 p.m. April 19.
Tickets are $10 and may be reserved by calling 344-9161. There
will also be an art display on the theme of nuclear issues in the
Hatch Ballroom both days of the conference.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. both days.
