Jane Buser, executive director of Human
Resource Services at Boise State University, has been named one of
six winners of the 2004 Distinguished Alumni Award from Purdue
University’s School of Liberal Arts.
Buser and the other five award
recipients will be honored April 15 at Purdue.
Each year Purdue’s School of Liberal
Arts Alumni Board recognizes the accomplishment of its
distinguished alumni and outstanding seniors. The recipients of
the Distinguished Alumni Award are recognized for their
exceptional careers and dedication to community service. Fellow
alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends of Purdue nominate
them for the award.

bachelor’s degree in recreation in 1968. She joined Boise State as
head of human resources in 1973.

State Buser has served in a number of capacities for professional,
