Armenian Genocide Topic Of
Lecture Series At Boise State University

| The
Idaho Chapter of the Armenian National Committee of America, with
sponsorship from the Idaho Humanities Council, presents Hilmar
Kaiser in a series of lectures today and Saturday, April 9-10, at
Boise State University. The lectures are free and open to the
public and will be followed by question and answer sessions.
Topics are:

Kaiser is a historian specializing in German-Ottoman relations
and the Armenian Genocide. He has conducted extensive research on
the subject of the Armenian cause in more than 60 archives and
universities in the Middle East, Europe and the United States and
has produced work in at least four Western languages. In 1996 he
was banned from Ottoman State Archives in Istanbul, Turkey,
because of his scholarly interest in Armenian history. Kaiser’s
published works include studies carried out with some prominent
Armenian researchers on the subject as well as historians across
the world.
