Boise State's Island Rythms Club Offers Festive Leis For Graduation

The island tradition of wearing a lei to celebrate life achievements combines with Bronco pride as members of Boise State University’s Island Rhythms Club pre-sell festive leis to honor university graduates at the May 15 Commencement ceremony. Leis are traditionally worn during weddings, religious events, birthdays, graduations or any time that calls for a celebration. Leis made of blue and orange flowers cost $20 each, or two for $35. Leis made of 25 one-dollar bills sell for $40. The last day to order is April 27.
