Boise State Nursing Program Receives $160,000 Scholarship Gift

An anonymous Basque couple has donated stock valued at $160,000 to the Boise State University Foundation. The gift will be used to fund annual scholarships for students seeking an associate degree in nursing. The gift comes at a time when the nursing profession faces a looming shortage, driving the need to educate as many new nursing professionals as possible. “Boise State appreciates the generosity of donors like this who help make education a reality for so many students,” said Rick Smith, Boise State’s vice president for University Advancement.
