Boise State
Sponsors 'Over Exposure' Free Band and Movie Night June 8

|
The Boise State University Student Programs
Board presents “Over Exposure,” an evening of acoustic rock and
a film, Tuesday, June 8, at the loading dock outside the Special
Events Center. The event is free and open to the public. People
are encouraged to bring blankets and snacks.
First on the bill at 8 p.m. is Sittser, an acoustic rock band
that got its start in fall 2000 in Spokane, Wash. The band,
named for a popular professor at Whitworth College, consists of
vocalist Tyler Kumakura, lead guitarist Travis Stolcis,
percussionist Joel Werdell, drummer Kyle Gilliam, bassist Ben
Bunfill and keyboardist/violinist Paul Ranheim.
Following Sittser’s performance at approximately 9:30 p.m. will
be the film “Win a Date With Tad Hamilton” (Dreamworks, PG-13).
The film tells the story of a small-town girl whose dream comes
true when she wins a date with Hollywood heartthrob Tad
Hamilton, much to the chagrin of her secret admirer. The film
stars Kate Bosworth, Josh Duhamel and Topher Grace.
