Please note that the
concert for Saturday, Oct. 16, has been changed. Igor Begelman,
clarinet, and Larisa Gelman, bassoon, will not perform due to a
family medical emergency. In their place will be Jason Vieaux,
guitar, and Gary Schocker, flute.
Vieaux and Schocker perform classical, Latin, Romantic, new and
old works for flute and guitar. Audiences nationwide have heard
them featured extensively on National Public Radio’s Performance
Today and have been equally rewarded with the duo’s first
recording for the Azica label. Selections include standard flute
and guitar works, Schocker's new composition “Dream Travels” and
their own arrangements of Latin music.
