Boise State
Instructional and Performance Technology Program Hosts Open House
Oct. 11

Boise
State Universityıs Department of Instructional and
Performance
Technology (IPT) master of science program is hosting an
open house from 5-7
p.m. on Monday, Oct. 11, on campus in the Bishop Barnwell
Room in the
Student Union. Free parking is available in the parking lot
behind the
Student Union. Let the parking attendant know that you are
attending the IPT
open house.
Anyone interested in learning about the IPT master of
science program, as
well as current students, graduates, faculty and staff, is
invited to
attend. The IPT program is intended to prepare students for
careers in the
areas of instructional design, performance improvement,
training,
e-learning, multimedia development, organizational
development, and human
performance consulting. A unique aspect of the IPT program
is that students
and working professionals can attend classes entirely
online, on campus, or
a combination of both.
The Oct. 11 open house will provide opportunities to:

Meet Dr. Sona Andrews, the universityıs new Provost
and Vice President
for Academic Affairs, and the IPT faculty. |

Network with graduates of the IPT program who
are employed in various
industries. A list of the graduates who will be
attending will be posted
under ³Whatıs New² on the IPT website:

Attend a half-hour slide show presentation
in the Farnsworth Room by
graduate adjunct professor Dr. Penelope
Schwiebert and IPT students who
traveled to China this summer. Find out what
other academic exchange
opportunities may be forthcoming. |
